In Dallas today, AT&T outlined it’s future portfolio of 4G Blackberry smartphones which includes an August launch date for the exclusive 4G Blackberry Torch 9860 along with what AT&T describes as the “…leading Blackberry portfolio in the U.S” to be released in 2011. AT&T customers will have the opportunity to choose the 4G Blackberry Bold 9900 and the 4G all touch Blackberry Torch 9860 later in the year.
The 4G Blackberry Torch 9810 is the next generation smartphone that is exclusive to the AT&T lineup. It is considerably faster and more fluid with its high performance Blackberry 7 operating system promised to deliver to you an enhanced multimedia experience. This model features the QWERTY keyboard, which slides out allowing faster typing while having full screen display. The 9810 will deliver high-speed service with the 4G capabilities and will be available to Blackberry users in August. Browsing with the new Blackberry 7 smartphone is about 40% faster than the Blackberry 6 model and up to 100% faster than Blackberry 5 model. The Torch 9810 also boasts significant improvements in hardware technology to deliver you a fast and responsive visual experience.
Later in 2011, AT&T plans to add more 4G versions of the Blackberry including the 4G Blackberry Bold 9900 and the 4G all-touch Blackberry Torch 9860 which is AT&T’s first all-touch smartphone from Blackberry.
