It is a well know fact that the Apple iPhone is leader of the phone market. Since the latest release of the iPhone 4 this popularity has only increased, as people can’t wait to get hold of Apple’s latest and try out the new features they have. However, other phone companies such as Blackberry are still battling for the title of most popular phone. This article will put the BlackBerry Torch 9800 up against the iPhone 4to compare their processors and display.
Processor : This is the speed of the phone, which is highly important in the smart phone market. With every new version of both phone promising new and exciting things, such as more apps or multi tasking, it is important that the phone is up to the job. Firstly, the iPhone 4 has a 1 GHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor. This simply means that is more than capable of handling what it promises and more. The Blackberry however has a 624 MHz processor, which is really not a patch on the iPhone 4. So, the iPhone takes the award here for best processor.
Display : The iPhone 4 is without a doubt known for its retina display. So the Blackberry Torch 9800 had to come up with something good to come out on tops in this category. The Blackberry has a 3.2 inch screen and bears a capacitive demeanour. Its resolution tops out at 360×480 and works on 16M colours. Furthermore, the track pad and QWERTY keyboard that the phone also possesses all add up to make this a good handset. However, this is still not a match for the iPhone 4, which has a bigger screen at 3.5 inches. The resolution, an astronomically gargantuan 640×960, basically means it’s excellent and with the LED-backlit IPS TFT screen, the iPhone 4 is without doubt the clear winner here.

I love iphone more than all other. I believe blackberry has to struggle a lot to compete with Apple to deliver such UI, Retina display and all other features of it.
